THE LOVELY BONES ROYAL FILM PERFORMANCE AND WORLD PREMIERE

On November 24, it was the Royal film event of the year at London’s Odeon Leicester Square, as their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall braved the elements to join Academy Award® winners Peter Jackson and Susan Sarandon for the Royal Film Performance and World Premiere of THE LOVELY BONES, adapted from the critically acclaimed best-selling novel by Alice Sebold.

Despite the rain, the younger stars of the film took time to sign autographs and pose for photographs with the excited fans. Saoirse Ronan, Rose McIver, Caroline Dando and Reece Ritchie were joined on the carpet by British celebrities including Stephen Fry, Andy Serkis and Chris Eubank, in anticipation of a first glimpse of the eagerly awaited film.  All of the proceeds from the evening benefited the film industry charity The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund.
