17 Again

Zac Efron (High School Musical, Hairspray) stars as the younger self of a frustrated and unfulfilled 37-year-old, played by Matthew Perry (Friends), who gets the chance to re-write his life. 17 AGAIN also stars Leslie Mann (Knocked Up), Thomas Lennon (Night at the Museum) and Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Inspector Gadget) and is directed by Burr Steers (writer of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), from a screenplay by Jason Filardi (Bringing Down the House).

Mike O’Donnell (Perry) seemingly had it all. He was a star athlete headed straight for a college scholarship until he decided to give it all up to settle down with his high school girlfriend Scarlett (Mann). Now at 37, Mike has become a miserable and unhappy businessman who wishes that he could go back and become the young Mike O’Donnell (Efron) he once was, in order to correct all the mistakes he made – which resulted in him becoming the unhappy businessman he now is. His wish soon becomes reality as he turns 17 again and gets to re-live his life.

Produced by Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot, with Toby Emmerich, Mark Kaufman, Keith Goldberg and Jason Barrett as executive producers and Dara Weintraub as co-producer, 17 AGAIN is a New Line Cinema presentation of an Offspring Entertainment production.

Released in the United Kingdom by Entertainment Film Distributors on April 10, 2009.
