Confessions of a Shopaholic
On Monday 16th February, Isla Fisher arrived in London's Leicester Square for the premiere of her new movie CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC. The dazzling beauty was joined by her co-star Britain' s own Hugh Dancy, along with producer Jerry Bruckheimer and the author of the international best selling novels Confessions of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, Sophie Kinsella. The premiere was kicked off with a fashion parade with some of London's leading young designers on the striking pink carpet.
In the glamorous world of New York City, Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a fun-loving girl who is really good at shopping - a little too good, perhaps. She dreams of working for her favourite fashion magazine, but can’t quite get her foot in the door - until ironically, she snags a job as an advice columnist for a financial magazine published by the same company. As her dreams are finally coming true, she goes to ever more hilarious and extreme efforts to keep her past from ruining her future. Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) and Hugh Dancy (Black Hawk Down) star in the film from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director P.J. Hogan (My Best Friend’s Wedding). The screenplay by Tim Firth and Tracey Jackson is based on the international best-selling books, Confessions of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, by Sophie Kinsella.
CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC was released nationwide on Wednesday, 18 February by Walt Disney Pictures.
