The Dark Knight
London - Monday, 21 July: The stars of THE DARK KNIGHT, which smashed all Box Office records in the US this weekend, were in London for the European Premiere, where they were led up the carpet by the new, improved, 2.5 ton, six-wheeled Batmobile, which recently starred at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Talent and film-makers attending include: CHRISTIAN BALE, AARON ECKHART, MAGGIE GYLLENHALL, MICHAEL CAINE, Producers EMMA THOMAS and CHARLES ROVEN and Director, Writer and Producer CHRISTOPHER NOLAN.

Panasonic Toyota Racing joins forces with The Dark Knight at Silverstone
Thanks to a partnership between Panasonic Toyota Racing and Warner Bros. Pictures, Hollywood came to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix weekend (3-6 July 2008) to celebrate the release of The Dark Knight.
The much-anticipated film, released in the UK on 24 July, is the follow up to the 2005 action hit Batman Begins . The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who again portrays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
To mark the release of The Dark Knight, Panasonic Toyota Racing adopted a new look and The Batmobile and the Batpod took to the Silverstone track alongside the TF108, followed by a pit stop overseen by team drivers Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock.
