DDA BLUEPRINT PUBLIC RELATIONS LTD
London, UK, 1st December 2011: DDA Public Relations’ CEO Lawrence Atkinson and COO John Stannard alongside Blueprint Public Relations’ co-Directors Janet Balmforth and Aimee Norman today announced the establishment of a new joint venture - DDA Blueprint.

The new stand-alone company, owned 50/50 by DDA PR and Blueprint PR, will benefit from the two companies’ distinct reputations and expertise, offering existing and future clients extended reach and deeper resource. DDA Blueprint will be headed up by Blueprint PR’s Janet Balmforth and Aimee Norman, with DDA PR’s Atkinson and Stannard serving as Non-Executive Directors. The four principals will form the board of the new company.
The joint venture will see all Blueprint Public Relations’ current and future business run through DDA Blueprint, with its operations and staff provided with a base at DDA PR’s headquarters in London. DDA Blueprint will have access to DDA PR’s reach in the US through its offices in Los Angeles, while Blueprint PR brings its extensive Television and Theatre expertise to the DDA Group of companies.
The business of DDA Blueprint will primarily be international television trade and theatre publicity and current Blueprint PR theatre head Kate Morley will lead the venture’s theatre activity.
As a specialist PR agency with a global and renowned client base, DDA Blueprint will create and provide strategic and goal-driven, tailor-made campaigns within the international and international and UK television and theatre industries.
From corporate profiling and supporting international sales activity, licensing opportunities and exploiting IP, to attracting co-production partners and potential investors, the television arm of DDA Blueprint will continue to work alongside CEOs advising on strategy, assisting in communications on mergers and acquisitions and co-ordinating global PR strategies for companies and brands.
In theatre, DDA Blueprint will remain a prominent agency for strategising and implementing media campaigns for both theatre companies and individual plays and musicals, from the West End to regional theatre, both in the subsidised and commercial sectors.
DDA Blueprint with its complementary skill set and client base will work alongside and independently of DDA Public Relations which continues to focus on international and UK-specific motion picture and event-television campaigns as well as global and local corporate and consumer brand campaigns for its entertainment clients.
Commented DDA’s Atkinson & Stannard: “DDA Blueprint will offer tangible benefits to both its existing and future clients through a combination of extended reach and increased skillset and we are looking forward to working closely with Janet, Aimee and Kate on growing DDA Blueprint into a successful company in its own right. DDA Blueprint is perfectly positioned to provide an additional level of strategic counsel for DDA’s existing motion picture clients, in particular for those who have developed TV businesses of their own.”
Norman and Balmforth added: “This joint relationship has great potential across our complementary businesses allowing us to offer greater resources and services to our respective client bases. We will continue to offer the same high-level of hands-on service to the TV and theatre industries, but now with a broader reach across UK and US and with the support of experienced and respected partners in Lawrence and John, and the wider personnel at
DDA PR.”
