Claire Stenwick (Julia Roberts) and Ray Koval (Clive Owen) star as two spies-turned-corporate-operatives having a clandestine love affair. Their respective employers – industry titan Howard Tully (Tom Wilkinson) and buccaneer CEO Dick Garsik (Paul Giamatti) – are oblivious to their out-of-office activities, but when the stakes are raised, Stenwick and Koval find themselves embroiled in a dangerous game of espionage on either side of an all-out corporate war. As they each try to stay one step ahead of the competition, Stenwick and Koval discover the toughest part of the job is figuring out how much to trust the one you love.
