MAGIC MIKE
Two of Hollywood’s hottest hunks sizzled on the red carpet for the European premiere of Magic Mike at The Mayfair Hotel on Tuesday 10th July. Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum left guests feeling hot under the collar in the Crystal Room of the exclusive hotel, while the Dream Idols body-rippled their way onto the stage to give guests a tantalising strip-tease.
Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey introduced Steven Soderbergh’s hedonistic thrill ride before the VIP guests – including many of the TOWIE girls, Perez Hilton and Louie Spence – watched the stars stripping down on the big screen.

ROCK OF AGES
Tom Cruise rocked the guitar themed carpet at the European ROCK OF AGES Premiere at Odeon Leicester Square on Sunday 10 June alongside fellow cast members Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Malin Ackerman, Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Mary J Blige and Director Adam Shankman. The cast arrived to a band belting out classic 80’s songs which feature in the movie, dancers and the finals of a Worldwide air guitar competition! The cast signed for fans who were enjoying the spectacle and Diego Boneta even joined the band to sing a song from the movie.

PROMETHEUS
On Thursday 31st May 2012, director Sir Ridley Scott was joined by the cast of 2012's most anticipated movie PROMETHEUS. Fans gathered at the Empire Leicester Square, London to see Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce, Rafe Spall and Sean Harris celebrate the World Premiere. Ridley was joined by other Hollywood friends Tom Hardy, Selma Hayek and Mark Strong, eager to be some of the first to see his return to the sci-fi genre.

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN
Fans camped out overnight to be in time to watch Leicester Square transform into both the beautiful enchanted and terrifying dark forest for the SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN World premiere on 14th May. CHARLIZE THERON, KRISTEN STEWART, CHRIS HEMSWORTH and SAM CLAFLIN walked the glorious ‘green carpet’, decked with flowers and toadstools, before venturing into the dark forest of twisted branches and stony floors. They were joined by legendary cast mates, including RAY WINSTONE, IAN McSHANE, EDDIE MARSAN, TOBY JONES as well as supermodel LILY COLE.

DARK SHADOWS
Wednesday 9 May marked a glamourous homecoming for the film world as stars of Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS ascended to the red carpet for the first premiere back at London's prestigious Leicester Square since its renovation. Internationally renowned actors including Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Chloe Moretz and Johnny Lee Miller joined director Tim Burton for the European debut of this sensational film. Film fans from across the globe travelled turned out to greet the stars, who signed autographs and posed for pictures with the crowds.

WRATH OF THE TITANS
The crowd was struck into frenzy on March 29th as the heaven-sent cast of WRATH OF THE TITANS descended upon the red carpet at the BFI IMAX for the European premiere. Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Toby Kebbell, Alejandro Naranjo and Director Jonathan Liebesman made their way down the red carpet, taking the time to meet and greet their adoring fans. Other famous faces who attended the premiere were loved up Jacqueline Jossa and Tony Discipline from East Enders as well as the entire Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics team who will compete for the UK later on this year.

WILD BILL
Film fans gathered at the Cineworld Haymarket on Tuesday 20 March for the UK Premiere of Dexter Fletcher's WILD BILL, released on 23 March by The Works UK. The crowds were awarded with autographs and pictures with a host of home-grown British film talent, including Dexter Fletcher, Charlie Creed-Miles, Will Poulter, and Liz White. Dexter was also joined on the red-carpet by his Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels co-stars Nick Moran and Jason Flemyng, who also features in this sensational new drama.

THE HUNGER GAMES
The odds were in favour of the thousands of fans of THE HUNGER GAMES on Wednesday 14 March when Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks attended the European premiere at the Cineworld O2 in London. The cast were joined by the producer Nina Jacobson along with other famous names such as Chris Hemsworth, Katie Price, Mel B and Clive Owen. The stars of the long-awaited film took time to sign autographs, take pictures and greet the press line, exciting fans who had been waiting for days to catch a glimpse of their favourite District member.

JOHN CARTER
On Thursday 1st March the BFI Southbank was transformed into a flame-lit, pro-jumping spectacle for the UK Premiere of Disney blockbuster JOHN CARTER. Canadian heart-throb Taylor Kitsch invaded the red carpet along with Hollywood super-star Willem Dafoe and British co-stars Mark Strong, Dominic West, James Purefoy and Samantha Morton. They greeted adoring fans, posed for photos and completed a long line of international media. Academy Award® winning director Andrew Stanton was also in attendance along with Dexter Fletcher, Peter Gabriel, Terry Gilliam and Gok Wan.

SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS
On Thursday 8 December, fans of the legendary detective of Scotland Yard braved the cold for the European Premiere of SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS at the Empire Leicester Sq. They were rewarded with glimpses of internationally renowned Hollywood stars Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Guy Ritchie, and star of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Noomi Rapace. The red carpet was also attended by Jared Harris and Stephen Fry, who co-star in the follow up to the sensational smash-hit Sherlock Holmes.

HAPPY FEET TWO
On 20 November 2011 the Grand Connaught Rooms were transformed into a winter wonderland to host the pre-premiere party for HAPPY FEET TWO. While children enjoyed penguin-inspired games, biscuit decorating and face painting, the all-singing, all -dancing cast tap danced their way into the snow filled party before the European premiere of HAPPY FEET TWO. Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Sofia Vergara and George Miller met Lovelace and Erik under falling snow and completed press amid the snowballs. After the party the Hollywood stars waltzed over to the Empire Leicester Square where they were joined by the likes of Danny Dyer and Bianca Gascoigne to walk the white carpet complete with penguin footprints.

IN TIME
The clocks stopped on Monday 31 October when Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy attended the UK Premiere of IN TIME at the Curzon Mayfair in London's West End. The cast were joined by writer-director Andrew Niccol. Justin, Amanda and Cillian took their time to greet fans, sign autographs, experience the flashbulbs and talk to the TV crews, making it a happy Halloween for those who had waited for a glimpse of the Hollywood stars.

RA ONE
On Tuesday 25th October, at the biggest ever UK Bollywood premiere, RA ONE screened to thousands of film fans across an astounding 11 screens in a first for the O2 arena. Bollywood's ultimate leading man Shah Rukh Khan was joined by co-stars Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and director Anubhav Sinha at the O2 where they posed for photographs and signed autographs for hundreds of ecstatic fans from across the globe, some of whom had the chance to talk to BBC One's 10 O'clock News, who captured the euphoria from the glamorous red carpet.

THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN
On Sunday 23rd October, the cast and crew explored the blue carpet at the UK premiere of THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN at Leicester Square. The home grown stars of the film Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost joined fans of the boy reporter at the UK premiere along with the films three writers, Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish and Steven Moffat and even Tintin's side kick Snowy made an appearance on the carpet. Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg's take on the internationally beloved character created by Hergé sees the plucky young detective and his trusty sidekick Snowy crossing the globe to unravel the mysteries of an ancient shipwreck. The stars of the film were joined by a wealth of celebrities at an event which thrilled an enthusiastic crowd wearing bowler hats and moustaches.

TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY
On Tuesday 13 September, fans infiltrated the BFI Southbank for the UK premiere of the most anticipated British film of the year, TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY. Spotlights and music under Waterloo Bridge provided a sophisticated atmosphere while waiting for arrivals. The red carpet was graced by a suave all-star cast including Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberbatch and John Hurt as well as the director, Tomas Alfredson. Best-selling author of the original Cold War novel, John Le Carré made a rare appearance to show his support of the big-screen version. Additional celebrity guests in attendance for this must-see MI6 spy thriller included Eric Clapton and Noomi Rapace.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2
On Thursday 7 July, the cast and filmmakers of the global sensation HARRY POTTER gathered in London's Trafalgar Sq for the film event of a generation at the World Premiere of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - PART 2. The red carpet was confirmed to be the longest in history by the Guinness Book of Records and was awash with stars including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and JK Rowling herself. DDA orchestrated a total of 31 live interviews on the red carpet, in a press line that consisted of 100 TV crews, and over 80 print radio and online journalists from every corner of the planet, all keen to talk about the epic finale to the HARRY POTTER films.
Over 20,000 Potter fans flocked to Central London to greet the cast and crew behind the much loved films, and were delighted by an emotional onstage presentation before the stars made their way up Jubilee Walk, magically transformed into Diagon Alley, and on to Leicester Square where the film premiered for the lucky attendees in the Odeon Leicester Square, Odeon West End, and Empire Leicester Square.

WILL
On Sunday 16 October, WILL cast, filmmakers and friends of Liverpool Football Club displayed their fanciest footwork on the red carpet at Odeon Liverpool One for the World Premiere of the most heartwarming British film of the year. Liverpool's biggest fans of film and football met to greet the film's stars Perry Egleton, Alice Krige, Kristian Kiehling, Neil Fitzmaurice and director Ellen Perry were joined by footballing legends Marc Wright, Phil Thompson and 'King' Kenny Dalglish for a premier that was in a league of its own.

THE THREE MUSKETEERS
On Tuesday 4 October, Westfield London was transported to 17th-century France where crowds of avid film fans waited to catch a glimpse of the stellar celebrity guests at the World Exclusive Premiere of THE THREE MUSKETEERS. Whilst the resident musketeers displayed their sword-fighting skills, internationally renowned film stars, including Orlando Bloom, Milla Jovovich, Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson, Logan Lerman, Freddie Fox, Gabriella Wilde and director & producer team Paul W.S Anderson and Jeremy Bolt, greeted the attending crowds signing autographs and posing for pictures on the red carpet.

JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN
At the UK Premiere of the hilarious home-grown comedy JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN, Rowan Atkinson wowed hundreds of attending film fans by entering the red carpet at the wheel of the actual Rolls-Royce which appeared in the movie. On Sunday 2 October, the hottest October day in centuries, Rowan Atkinson was joined by co-stars Gillian Anderson, Dominic West, Stephen Campbell Moore, Tim McInnerny, Daniel Kaluuya and director Oliver Parker, plus a bevy of sexy secretaries, in celebration of the UK release of JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN on Friday 7 October.

REAL STEEL
Leicester Square was transformed on Wednesday 14th September for the UK premiere of Real Steel. Crowds gathered as star Hugh Jackman sparred with robot Titan and walked the electric blue carpet alongside co-star Dakota Goyo and director Shawn Levy. They were joined by producers Susan Montford, and Don Murphy and executive producer Jack Rapke. Celebrity guests including boxer Amir Khan, footballer Franck Leboeuf plus cast members of TOWIE who all met prize fighting Real Steel robot Atom.

CARS 2
Cast, filmmakers and fans braved the rain on Sunday 17th July to race to the UK premiere of Cars 2. Lightning McQueen and Finn McMissile themselves were at Whitehall Gardens for the fabulous pre-premiere party, which hosted a Tokyo diner, French patisserie, royal hair salon, Scalextric and even a disco. Pixar legend and director John Lasseter walked the racetrack red carpet, and was joined by producer Denise Ream, as well as voice stars of the film Sir Michael Caine and Jason Isaacs. Celebrity guests such as Emma Bunton, Noel Clarke and James Cracknell also attended, and brought their children along to enjoy the family classic Cars 2.

LARRY CROWNE
Oscar winning actor Tom Hanks took to the carpet for the World Premiere of his film, Larry Crowne on June 6th at Westfield, London. Live performances by Sophie Ellis-Bexter increased the excitement as hundreds of fans flocked to get a glimpse of the Hollywood star. Ronnie Wood, David Hasslehoff and Cherie Blair were amongst the many guests to grace the red carpet, before entering the exclusive screening at Vue Cinema Westfield.

KUNG FU PANDA 2
Excited film fans witnessed complete Panda-monium on Sunday June 5 as Westfield London hosted the UK Premiere of KUNG FU PANDA 2, this summer's most anticipated animated release. Performances by drummers, martial arts groups and a Chinese dragon stirred the excitement as thousands of fans flocked to get a glimpse of the hilarious Hollywood star, Jack Black. As Black cruised along the red carpet on a rickshaw, striking poses and entertaining the crowds, he was joined by producer Melissa Cobb and director Jennifer Yuh Nelson. Additional celebrities in attendance included Thandie Newton, Rachel Stevens and Nell McAndrew who were widely welcomed by enthusiastic fans of the animated sequel.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES
Thousands of fans crowded into London's Westfield shopping centre as PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4 sailed into the capital for its UK premiere on May 12. Fans camped out overnight to welcome stars of the film including Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush and Ian McShane. A giant skull was hoisted into the atrium, while DJ Spoony entertained the crowds in the lead up to one of the most anticipated movie events of the summer. Also on the blue carpet were the film's director Rob Marshall, legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer and rising British star Sam Claflin. Additional celebrity guests who enjoyed Captain Jack Sparrow's latest action-packed adventure included Dermot O'Leary, Mcfly and Jeremy Irvine.

FIRE IN BABYLON
The UK Premiere of Revolver Entertainment's new sensational cricketing movie FIRE IN BABYLON on May 9th saw the Odeon Leicester Square transformed into a Caribbean dream with a red, yellow and green carpet and the sound of steel drums and thumping reggae beats filling the sunny Leicester Square. The carpet was awash with Cricketing legends and movie stars alike – Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Gordon Greenidge and Colin Croft were joined by executive producers Ben Golding, Ben Elliot and international movie stars Hugh Grant and Sadie Frost. The stars all made their way into the Odeon Leicester Sq for the screening of the hotly anticipated FIRE IN BABYLON which brings all the passion and drama of the West Indies' cricketing golden years to the big screen.

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS
On May 3, London's Westfield was transformed into a circus big top for the UK premiere of the romantic comedy WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. Dozens of fans camped overnight to catch a glimpse of the film's stars Robert Pattinson and Reece Witherspoon as they walked the red carpet as they were introduced by the ringmaster. Fans were entertained through out the day by circus acrobats, hula-hoopers and contortionists. Director Francis Lawrence and producer Erwin Stoff were also in attendance as well as actor Christoph Waltz. Additional celebrities who enjoyed the movie included Marvin Humes from JLS and Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays

ATTACK THE BLOCK
May 4 saw London's world-famous Leicester Square tool up for the UK premiere of Joe Cornish's feature debut ATTACK THE BLOCK – the movie which an age-old question, posed by scientists and philosophers the world over: what would happen if ferocious aliens invaded a South London council estate. Joining the director on the red carpet were his gang-members and chief alien hunters John Boyega, Alex Esmail, Franz Drameh, Leeon Jones and Simon Howard as well as other cast members Nick Frost, Jodie Whitaker and Luke Treadaway. Also in attendance were the film's producers Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg. Believe, bruv.

A TURTLE'S TALE: SAMMY'S ADVENTURES 3D
The UK Premiere of Optimum Releasing's new 3D animated family film A TURTLE'S TALE: SAMMY'S ADVENTURES 3D saw the aquatic-themed blue carpet awash with the film's stars, including Christine Bleakley and Robert Sheehan. Inside the BFI Southbank hoards of excited children were treated to a fun-filled workshop with turtle-related competitions before the young winners were awarded prizes by the film's stars. Following a Q&A with Christine Bleakley and Robert Sheehan, the audience were wowed by a screening of this spectacular 3D adventure following a young sea-turtle's romantic quest for his first, lost love, and his marathon voyage across the seven seas to the furthest corners of the earth.

THE EAGLE
The Eagle landed in Leicester Square for its European Premiere on March 9th at the Empire Cinema, to the accompaniment of its stirring soundtrack, broadcast to the assembled fans. Kevin Macdonald's action-packed film of Rosemary Sutcliff's Roman Britain-set novel "The Eagle of the Ninth" for Universal Pictures brought American heartthrob Channing Tatum to the West End, joined on the red carpet by his co-stars Jamie Bell and Tahar Rahim. Alongside director Macdonald, the film's production team was represented by producer Duncan Kenworthy and Icelandic composer Atli Örvarsson, while among the celebrity guests were actors Gillian Anderson, Dexter Fletcher and David Morrissey.

JUSTIN BIEBER: NEVER SAY NEVER
Bewitched, bothered and Beliebered, hundreds of fans of the teenage superstar laid siege to London's O2 complex, as JUSTIN BIEBER: NEVER SAY NEVER, his 3D biographical feature, received its European Premiere at the Cineworld on February 16th, 2011. Between media interviews and photographs, the 16-year-old Canadian performer prowled the purple carpet, interacting with his adoring public, before the screening of the Paramount Pictures release, which was also attended by the film's director Jon M. Chu and music celebrities including Craig David, Jessie J, Alesha Dixon and Jamelia.

GNOMEO AND JULIET
Stars, celebrities and children thronged the narrow path between the builders' hoardings, which had been transformed for the afternoon into a magic garden, as they arrived at London's Odeon Leicester Square for the UK Premiere of eOne's animated 3D adventure GNOMEO & JULIET on Sunday, 30th January. Executive producer Sir Elton John led the celebrations, alongside director Kelly Asbury and producers David Furnish, Steve Hamilton Shaw and Baker Bloodworth. The stars of the film, Emily Blunt, Matt Lucas, Ashley Jensen and Stephen Merchant joined them on the green grass carpet, together with celebrities and their families, including Elizabeth Hurley, Boy George, Gail Porter, Alex James, Tania Bryer, Gary Lucy and Trinny Woodall. The afternoon was brought to a rousing conclusion when the executive producer took to the stage with a barnstorming performance of 'Crocodile Rock'.

TRON: LEGACY
As the futuristic world of TRON: LEGACY played on a giant outdoor screen, entertaining the waiting crowds, the film's stars made their way up a suitably icy blue carpet to the Empire Leicester Square for the film's UK Premiere. Braving the chill were Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde, together with director Joseph Kosinski, producers Sean Bailey and Brigham Taylor, accompanied by Daniel Simon, designer of TRON's spectacular vehicles. Additional celebrities included Toby Kebbell, Pam Hogg, The Script, Alison Goldfrapp, Felix B, Ozwald Boateng, Fugative, Shayne Ward, Laura Whitmore, Jason Derulo and Glee's Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER
One wintry night just before Christmas, the audience for the Royal Film Performance 2010, THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER, slowly wound its way through the seasonally decorated gardens of Leicester Square, to the sound of X Factor winner Joe McElderry's live performance of the film's theme song. As artificial snow machines competed valiantly with the real thing, HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at the Odeon Leicester Square for this World Premiere, held in aid of the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund. Amongst those attending were director Michael Apted and stars Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Liam Neeson, Will Poulter and Simon Pegg, with producer Douglas Gresham, stepson of C.S. Lewis, author of the Narnia books.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1
The penultimate instalment of the world's most successful film franchise, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1, received its World Premiere on 11th November at London's Empire and Odeon Leicester Square. The torrential rain, which had soaked the hordes of fans, some of whom had been waiting for up to two days, relented long enough to allow the dry arrival of the stars of the film and a variety of celebrities. The creator of the series, J.K. Rowling joined the cast, including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Helena Bonham-Carter, Jamie Campbell Bower, Domnhall Gleeson, Toby Jones, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, Helen McCrory (with husband Damian Lewis), Nick Moran, James and Oliver Phelps, Clémence Poésy, Timothy Spall, Imelda Staunton, Julie Walters, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Warwick Davis, Ciarán Hinds, John Hurt, Andy Linden, Sophie Thompson, Louis Cordice, George Harris, Ralph Ineson, Katie Leung and David O'Hara, together with producers David Heyman and David Barron and director David Yates. The roster of other celebrity guests included the X Factor finalists, Lisa Marie Presley, Theo Walcott, Konnie Huq and Chloe Moretz.

BURKE & HARE
The Curzon Cinema on Chelsea's Kings Road rolled out the red carpet for the stars of the new British comedy BURKE & HARE on Monday 25 October. Leading British actors Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis and Jessica Hynes were joined by comedy legend Ronnie Corbett, the stunning Isla Fisher, and legendary Hollywood director John Landis, for the world premiere of this uproarious new comedy. Other stars of the film who attended included British comedy favourite Paul Whitehouse and the glamorous Pollyanna Mcintosh, together with screenwriters Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft.

DESPICABLE ME
On Monday 11 October, Leicester Square was buzzing with excitement as the stars of Universal Pictures' animated family blockbuster DESPICABLE ME walked the red carpet for the film's European premiere. At the Empire Cinema, comedy legend Steve Carell was joined by co-stars Russell Brand and Miranda Cosgrove, where they signed autographs and posed for photographs alongside a host of despicable Minions (the film villain's tiny helpers) who danced along the red carpet entertaining the crowds of adoring fans.

THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST CLOUD
Screams of excitement echoed through London’s Leicester Square on Thursday 16 September as Zac Efron walked a specially designed electric blue carpet at the Empire Cinema, for the UK premiere of the eagerly anticipated THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST CLOUD. People waited all day to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood heartthrob and were rewarded as he posed and signed autographs for his adoring fans.

TAMARA DREWE
Edged in grass and flanked by shrubbery, bales of hay, baby lambs and an improbable pink cow, the red carpet for the UK Premiere of TAMARA DREWE, held on Monday 6th September, in aid of The Prince's Foundation For Children and the Arts, transformed a corner of London's Leicester Square into an English country village. Stephen Frears brought the cast of his dark comedy, adapted by Moira Buffini from the graphic novel and Guardian comic strip by Posy Simmonds to the Odeon cinema, led by Gemma Arterton (the eponymous Ms Drewe), Dominic Cooper, Tamsin Greig, Luke Evans, Roger Allam, Jessica Barden, Charlotte Christie and Lois Winstone. GOING THE DISTANCE
Drew Barrymore and her leading man Justin Long drew the crowds to the World Premiere of the new Warner Bros. romantic comedy GOING THE DISTANCE on August 19th, 2010, at the Vue, Leicester Square. Joining them on the red carpet were their director Nanette Burstein and co-star Oliver Jackson-Cohen, along with his fellow Brits, the indie band The Boxer Rebellion, who make a telling contribution to the film.

SCOTT PILGRIM vs. THE WORLD
The red carpet leading to the Empire, Leicester Square, was a sea of talent on August 18th, 2010, as the promotional bandwagon for Universal Pictures' 'epic of epic epicness', SCOTT PILGRIM vs. THE WORLD, touched down in London for its European Premiere. Michael Cera, the eponymous hero of director and co-writer Edgar Wright's action comedy, was joined by his fellow stars, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Keiran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Jason Schwartzman, Ellen Wong, Brie Larson and Brandon Routh, together with writers Michael Bacall and the creator of the original graphic novel, Bryan Lee O'Malley.

THE EXPENDABLES
It was the 'manliest' premiere of the year, when writer-director Sylvester Stallone joined his fellow stars Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren on the red carpet for the launch of Lionsgate's new action blockbuster THE EXPENDABLES at London's Odeon Leicester Square on Monday 9th August. Flanked by soldiers from the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment and Guardsmen in full dress uniform, representing the services charity ForceSelect, which was benefitting from the event, the three stars spent more than two hours meeting media and fans before the screening. Earlier in the day they had paid a visit to Wellington Barracks to see the Army at work and to meet the troops. The premiere's celebrity guests included Katie Price, Professor Green, champion boxers David Haye and Amir Khan, Eliza Doolittle, Liz McClarnon, Leigh Francis, Preeya Kalidas, Leslie Phillips and Michael Winner, together with distinguished military guests, including General Sir Mike Jackson GCB CBE DSO DL, L/Cpl Johnson Beharry VC, Major Mick Flynn CGC MC, the most decorated soldier currently serving and author Andy McNab DCM MM.

KNIGHT AND DAY
For almost three hours, stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz enthralled a noisy and enthusiastic multitude of fans thronging Leicester Square at the UK Premiere of Twentieth Century Fox's KNIGHT AND DAY, held at the Odeon on Thursday 22nd July. Having helicoptered in from their racetrack duel staged earlier in the day by BBC TV's Top Gear, the two stars shook every hand and signed every autograph during the marathon session, dividing their time between photographs (both professional and amateur), media interviews and close encounters with their fans. Director James Mangold and his wife, producer Cathy Konrad were also on hand to tub-thump their movie.

TOY STORY 3
The world's favourite toys ruled the day at the UK Premiere of Disney and Pixar's TOY STORY 3 on Sunday 18th July at London's Empire Leicester Square. Woody, Buzz, Jessie and new toy Lot's-o-huggin' Bear were the stars of the show, joining director Lee Unkrich, producer Darla K. Anderson and screenwriter Michael Arndt on the red carpet for the family-packed screening. The audience of celebrities, their young families and friends included Gino D'Acampo, Danny Dyer, Kate Garraway, Terry Gilliam, Professor Green, Rhys Ifans, Alex James and Penny Lancaster.

GET HIM TO THE GREEK
Rock star Aldous Snow, in the person of Russell Brand, together with his harassed 'minder' Jonah Hill, drew crowds of sightseers as he enjoyed the sunny company of a gaggle of bikini clad girls at a photocall promoting his new movie GET HIM TO THE GREEK, on Sunday 20th June, in Potter's Fields, in the familiar shadow of London's Tower Bridge.

RAAVAN
The World Premiere of RAAVAN on Wednesday 16th June, 2010, turned the South Bank into Bollywood-on-Thames, in a night of exuberant sounds and colours. The celebrations were led by Bollywood's first couple, the film's stars Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan, accompanied by the film's director, Mani Ratnam. Also making their way down the BFI Southbank's crowded and lively red carpet were such luminaries of Indian cinema as Abhishek's parents, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and his actress wife Jaya Bhaduri and the actor who is currently regarded as the world's most successful movie star, Shahrukh Khan.

Living up to the title of her latest comedy-thriller Killers, Katherine Heigl was dressed to kill on June 9th at the film's European premiere in London's Leicester Square. Glitz, glamour, stars galore - it was all there in the Leicester Square Gardens on Thursday 27th May, the night of the SEX AND THE CITY 2 premiere. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, together with writer-director Michael Patrick King, returned to the Odeon cinema, scene of the fashionable foursome's 2008 triumph, to celebrate their latest, up-to-the-minute, big-screen outing. Contributing to the fabulousness were their co-stars Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, Raza Jaffrey, Dhaffer L'Abidine, Art Malik, Omid Djalili, Alice Eve, Max Ryan and SATC producer John P. Melfi. The red carpet became an impromptu catwalk, showcasing a glittering array of gorgeous outfits, worn by such fashionable moviegoers as Kylie Minogue, Daisy Lowe, Penny Lancaster, Amanda Holden, Alexandra Burke, Karen Gillan, The Saturdays, Lisa Snowden and Emma Roberts.

A star-studded sandstorm swept through London's Westfield's shopping centre on May 9. PRINCE OF PERSIA : THE SANDS OF TIME, the first ever world premiere to take place at this exciting complex, had Sunday shoppers putting away their credit cards to take in the atmosphere, as the stars of the film Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Academy Award® winner Sir Ben Kingsley, Steve Toussaint, Toby Kebbell, Richard Coyle and Reece Ritchie made their way down the red carpet greeting their excited fans, along with the film's director Mike Newell and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Fans, shoppers and stars alike were then treated to an awe-inspiring display of Parkour from the freerunning team 3RUN, who seemingly defied gravity as they jumped, flipped and spun their way through the spectacular Persian themed Atrium.

The Royal World Premiere of ALICE IN WONDERLAND on February 25th at the Odeon Leicester Square quickly became a star-spotter's version of Alice's Adventures in Waterland, as a continuous downpour soaked the bright green carpet. The torrential rain, however, failed to dampen the spirits of either the massed ranks of fans or of the guests attending this Royal occasion, held in the presence of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, in aid of The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts. Director Tim Burton and producers Joe Roth and Richard D. Love was in the air, banishing the evening chill, as crowds gathered to watch the celebrities arriving at the Odeon Leicester Square for the European Premiere of VALENTINE’S DAY on Thursday 11th February. The star-studded ensemble cast of this multi-character, comedic exploration of love was represented by Jessica Alba, Hector Elizondo, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, accompanied by his wife Demi Moore, Emma Roberts and the veteran filmmaker Garry Marshall. Heavy snow in the United States thwarted the appearance of a number of the film’s other stars, who include Kathy Bates, Jessica Biehl, Bradley Cooper, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, Shirley MacLaine, Julia Roberts and award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

INVICTUS
The spirit of one of the most dramatic and memorable sporting occasions ever witnessed – the final of the 1995 Rugby World Cup – came to London’s Leicester Square with the UK Premiere of INVICTUS at the Odeon West End on Sunday 31st January.
