KNIGHT AND DAY
For almost three hours, stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz enthralled a noisy and enthusiastic multitude of fans thronging Leicester Square at the UK Premiere of Twentieth Century Fox's KNIGHT AND DAY, held at the Odeon on Thursday 22nd July. Having helicoptered in from their racetrack duel staged earlier in the day by BBC TV's Top Gear, the two stars shook every hand and signed every autograph during the marathon session, dividing their time between photographs (both professional and amateur), media interviews and close encounters with their fans. Director James Mangold and his wife, producer Cathy Konrad were also on hand to tub-thump their movie.

TOY STORY 3
The world's favourite toys ruled the day at the UK Premiere of Disney and Pixar's TOY STORY 3 on Sunday 18th July at London's Empire Leicester Square. Woody, Buzz, Jessie and new toy Lot's-o-huggin' Bear were the stars of the show, joining director Lee Unkrich, producer Darla K. Anderson and screenwriter Michael Arndt on the red carpet for the family-packed screening. The audience of celebrities, their young families and friends included Gino D'Acampo, Danny Dyer, Kate Garraway, Terry Gilliam, Professor Green, Rhys Ifans, Alex James and Penny Lancaster.

GET HIM TO THE GREEK
Rock star Aldous Snow, in the person of Russell Brand, together with his harassed 'minder' Jonah Hill, drew crowds of sightseers as he enjoyed the sunny company of a gaggle of bikini clad girls at a photocall promoting his new movie GET HIM TO THE GREEK, on Sunday 20th June, in Potter's Fields, in the familiar shadow of London's Tower Bridge.

RAAVAN
The World Premiere of RAAVAN on Wednesday 16th June, 2010, turned the South Bank into Bollywood-on-Thames, in a night of exuberant sounds and colours. The celebrations were led by Bollywood's first couple, the film's stars Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan, accompanied by the film's director, Mani Ratnam. Also making their way down the BFI Southbank's crowded and lively red carpet were such luminaries of Indian cinema as Abhishek's parents, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and his actress wife Jaya Bhaduri and the actor who is currently regarded as the world's most successful movie star, Shahrukh Khan.

KILLERS
Living up to the title of her latest comedy-thriller Killers, Katherine Heigl was dressed to kill on June 9th at the film's European premiere in London's Leicester Square. Katherine was joined by the film's director Robert Luketic on the vibrant pink carpet where the pair stopped to sign autographs and pose for photographs with their excited fans before making their way into the Odeon West End.

SEX AND THE CITY 2
Glitz, glamour, stars galore - it was all there in the Leicester Square Gardens on Thursday 27th May, the night of the SEX AND THE CITY 2 premiere. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, together with writer-director Michael Patrick King, returned to the Odeon cinema, scene of the fashionable foursome's 2008 triumph, to celebrate their latest, up-to-the-minute, big-screen outing. Contributing to the fabulousness were their co-stars Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, Raza Jaffrey, Dhaffer L'Abidine, Art Malik, Omid Djalili, Alice Eve, Max Ryan and SATC producer John P. Melfi. The red carpet became an impromptu catwalk, showcasing a glittering array of gorgeous outfits, worn by such fashionable moviegoers as Kylie Minogue, Daisy Lowe, Penny Lancaster, Amanda Holden, Alexandra Burke, Karen Gillan, The Saturdays, Lisa Snowden and Emma Roberts.

PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME
A star-studded sandstorm swept through London's Westfield's shopping centre on May 9. PRINCE OF PERSIA : THE SANDS OF TIME, the first ever world premiere to take place at this exciting complex, had Sunday shoppers putting away their credit cards to take in the atmosphere, as the stars of the film Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Academy Award® winner Sir Ben Kingsley, Steve Toussaint, Toby Kebbell, Richard Coyle and Reece Ritchie made their way down the red carpet greeting their excited fans, along with the film's director Mike Newell and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Fans, shoppers and stars alike were then treated to an awe-inspiring display of Parkour from the freerunning team 3RUN, who seemingly defied gravity as they jumped, flipped and spun their way through the spectacular Persian themed Atrium.

CLASH OF THE TITANS
Splash Of The Titans! Gods, demigods and heroes descended on a rain-drenched red carpet on Monday 29th March for the World Premiere in 3D of CLASH OF THE TITANS at London's Empire Cinema. Sam Worthington (Perseus) joined Gemma Arterton (Io), Mads Mikkelson (Draco), Jason Flemyng (Acrisius), Alexa Davalos (Andromeda), Luke Evans (Apollo), Hans Matheson (Ixas), Nicholas Hoult (Eusebios), Vincent Regan (Kepheus), Luke Treadaway (Prokopion), Tamer Hassan (Ares) and director Louis Leterrier, to greet film fans and the world's press on their winding route through a ruined forest of Ancient Greek columns in the Leicester Square gardens.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
The Royal World Premiere of ALICE IN WONDERLAND on February 25th at the Odeon Leicester Square quickly became a star-spotter's version of Alice's Adventures in Waterland, as a continuous downpour soaked the bright green carpet. The torrential rain, however, failed to dampen the spirits of either the massed ranks of fans or of the guests attending this Royal occasion, held in the presence of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, in aid of The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts. Director Tim Burton and producers Joe Roth and Richard D. Zanuck were joined by the film's stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mia Wasikowska, Matt Lucas, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Paul Whitehouse, Timothy Spall, Barbara Windsor and Sir Christopher Lee, with soundtrack composer Danny Elfman and singer Avril Lavigne. Other celebrity guests included Daisy Lowe, David Walliams, James Corden, Paloma Faith, Sharon Osbourne, Lily Cole, Alice Temperley, Alice Dellal, Lulu Guinness, Harry Enfield, Dame Vivienne Westwood, Terry Gilliam, Nicholas Haslam, Sharleen Spiteri, Gabriella Cilmi, Pixie Geldof and Marina and the Diamonds.

VALENTINE’S DAY
Love was in the air, banishing the evening chill, as crowds gathered to watch the celebrities arriving at the Odeon Leicester Square for the European Premiere of VALENTINE’S DAY on Thursday 11th February. The star-studded ensemble cast of this multi-character, comedic exploration of love was represented by Jessica Alba, Hector Elizondo, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, accompanied by his wife Demi Moore, Emma Roberts and the veteran filmmaker Garry Marshall. Heavy snow in the United States thwarted the appearance of a number of the film’s other stars, who include Kathy Bates, Jessica Biehl, Bradley Cooper, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, Shirley MacLaine, Julia Roberts and award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

INVICTUS
The spirit of one of the most dramatic and memorable sporting occasions ever witnessed – the final of the 1995 Rugby World Cup – came to London’s Leicester Square with the UK Premiere of INVICTUS at the Odeon West End on Sunday 31st January. Director Clint Eastwood accompanied his stars Morgan Freeman (Nelson Mandela) and Matt Damon (Springbok captain Francois Pienaar) along a specially-extended red carpet. Co-stars Adjoah Andoh, Julian Lewis Jones and Penny Downie also attended with writer John Carlin, producers Lori McCreary and Rob Lorenz, together with an international scrum of rugby players, including Francois Pienaar himself and Izaak Faeunati (who plays Jonah Lomu in the film), with Aaron Mauger, Andy Gomersall, Simon Shaw, Neil Back, Brian Moore, David Flatman, Jean de Villiers, Lawrence Dallaglio, Lee Mears, Schalk Brits, Tom Varndell, Seilala Mapusua, Lee Byrne, Simon Shaw, Jonathan Humphries, David Lemi, Topsy Ojo and Ugo Monye.

THE LAST STATION
A cold easterly blast swept across the steppes of Mayfair as Dame Helen Mirren and her co-stars arrived at the Curzon cinema on Tuesday 26th January for the UK Premiere of THE LAST STATION, Michael Hoffman’s film about the latter years of Leo Tolstoy, the great Russian novelist, played by Christopher Plummer. James McAvoy and his newly-pregnant wife Anne-Marie Duff attended with their fellow cast members Patrick Kennedy and John Sessions. Director Michael Hoffman and the author of the novel on which the film is based, Jay Parini, joined the actors in introducing the film to an eager audience.
