St Trinian's
On Monday 10th December, the star-studded cast of ST TRINIAN’S ran riot on the red carpet for the World Premiere of the new British comedy. ST TRINIAN’S stars Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Caterina Murino, Russell Brand, Gemma Arterton, Talulah Riley, Tamsin Egerton, Amara Karan, Antonia Bernath, Millie Foster, Juno Temple, Kathryn Drysdale, Paloma Faith Bloomfield, Cloe Mackie, Holly Mackie, Lucy Punch, Celia Imrie, Toby Jones, Fenella Woolgar, Girls Aloud and directors Oliver Parker and Barnaby Thompson were among those who attended the world premiere at London’s Leicester Square.

Golden Compass
On Tuesday 27th November Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (The Hours), Daniel Craig (Casino Royale), Eva Green (Casino Royale) and Sam Elliott (We Were Soldiers) were joined by newcomer Dakota Blue Richards on the glittering red carpet for the world premiere of the year’s most eagerly anticipated film THE GOLDEN COMPASS. They were accompanied by Derek Jacobi, Ben Walker, Jim Carter, Jack Shepherd and Freddie Highmore.

Dinard Film Festival
The 18th Festival du Film Britannique de Dinard was held from the 4th - 7th October at the French seaside town of Dinard, where HALLAM FOE picked up the Grand Prix Jury - The Hitchcock D'Or and the Prix Kodak for best Cinematography, director David Mackenzie and producer Gillian Foe, were on hand to collect their award.

RUN, FAT BOY, RUN
On the Monday 3rd September 2007, the premiere of actor-turned-director David Schwimmer’s feature film debut, RUN, FAT BOY, RUN took place in Leicester Square. The film boasts a strong international cast including Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) BAFTA winning actress Thandie Newton (Crash, Mission Impossible II), Hank Azaria (Huff, The Simpsons) and Dylan Moran (Shaun of the Dead, A Cock and Bull Story). The film also stars Harish Patel (The Buddha of Suburbia, My Son the Fanatic) and newcomers India de Beaufort and Matthew Fenton.

Life in a... METRO
On Tuesday 8th May, Shilpa Shetty and director Anurag Basu arrived on the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square for the first of three premieres to take place around the world. This world premiere of Life in a… METRO not only sees Shilpa Shetty in her first film since making a global impact as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, but also marks the first official world premiere of an Indian film outside of Mumbai.

To celebrate the release of the sexy thriller STRAIGHTHEADS, Hollywood Actress Gillian Anderson, British Legend Danny Dyer and director Dan Reed were joined by the industry’s elite at The Rex Cinema on Tuesday 17th April.
STRAIGHTHEADS will be released in cinemas nationwide on April 27th by Verve Pictures.
Wild Hogs
On Wednesday 28th March, John Travolta, Tim Allen and Ray Liotta roared into London’s West End for the UK Premiere of the Number 1 US Box Office smash hit WILD HOGS. The trio arrived in style coasting up the red carpet on the back of 3 Harley Davidsons.
WILD HOGS will be released across the UK by Buena Vista International (UK) on April 13, 2007.
The Lions Gate Horrorthon
To celebrate the DVD releases of SAW III – Extreme Edition, Blood Trails and Snuff Movie Lionsgate Gate Home Entertainment and Fright Fest teamed up to present a “horrorthon” on Saturday 24th February, 2007 at The Rex Cinema, Rupert Street. With over 375 entries for just 35 pairs of tickets, 70 horror fans gathered for an afternoon of gore, with goodybags, competitions and refreshments throughout the day.
