TRON: LEGACY

As the futuristic world of TRON: LEGACY played on a giant outdoor screen, entertaining the waiting crowds, the film's stars made their way up a suitably icy blue carpet to the Empire Leicester Square for the film's UK Premiere. Braving the chill were Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde, together with director Joseph Kosinski, producers Sean Bailey and Brigham Taylor, accompanied by Daniel Simon, designer of TRON's spectacular vehicles. Additional celebrities included Toby Kebbell, Pam Hogg, The Script, Alison Goldfrapp, Felix B, Ozwald Boateng, Fugative, Shayne Ward, Laura Whitmore, Jason Derulo and Glee's Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Disney's TRON: LEGACY forges a new frontier in filmmaking with its avant-garde, cutting-edge technology—set to blow away today's audiences. Among the film's firsts: it is the first 3D movie to integrate a fully digital head and body based upon an existing actor, creating the younger version of Jeff Bridges' character; it's the first movie to make extensive use of self-illuminated costumes; it's the first movie to create molded costumes using digital sculpture exclusively, creating molds directly from computer files using CNC (Computer Numerical Cutting) technology; and it's the first 3D movie shot with 35mm lenses and full-35mm chip cameras.

TRON: LEGACY is presented in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D and will open nationwide on December 17th, 2010
