VALKYRIE UK PREMIERE
On Wednesday 21st January, Tom Cruise arrived in London's Leicester Square for the premiere of is new Blockbuster VALKYRIE. The Hollywood legend was joined on the red- carpet by two of Britain's finest talent - Bill Nighy and Eddie Izzard. Along with other members of stellar British cast including Tom Wilkinson, Tom Hollander, Jamie Parker and David Bamber the director Bryan Singer and his screen writers Chris McQuarrie and Nathan Alexander completed this star studded premiere. Katie Holmes also joined her husband and walked the red- carpet flanked with hundreds of his loyal fans.
Tom Cruise stars as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg in VALKYRIE, based on the powerful true story of the daring and ingenious plot to eliminate one of the most evil criminals the world has ever known. Director Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects, X-Men, Superman Returns) re-teams with Academy Award(r)-winning Usual Suspects screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie to bring to life the story of the German military men who led the operation to assassinate Hitler. The film stars an acclaimed cast including Kenneth Branagh (Henry V), Bill Nighy (Love Actually), Tom Wilkinson (Michael Clayton), Carice van Houten (Black Book), Thomas Kretschmann (Wanted), Eddie Izzard (Oceans Twelve), Christian Berkel (Haber), Terence Stamp (The Limey), Tom Hollander (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest), Julian Morris (Donkey Punch), Kenneth Cranham (Layer Cake), David Schofield (Gladiator), David Bamber (Miss Potter) and Jamie Parker (The History Boys).
